At Ling Metals Limited, we strive to provide the best service to our customers. We understand that there may be occasions when you need to cancel or amend your order. This refund policy outlines the terms under which refunds will be issued for skip hire services.
- Cancellation and Refund Eligibility
2.1 Cancellations Made 48 Hours Before Delivery:
- Customers who cancel their skip hire order at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery time are eligible for a full refund.
2.2 Cancellations Made Less Than 48 Hours Before Delivery:
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of the total hire cost. The remaining 75% will be refunded.
2.3 Same-Day Cancellations:
- If a cancellation is made on the day of delivery, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total hire cost will apply. The remaining 50% will be refunded.
- Refund Process
3.1 Initiating a Refund:
- To initiate a refund, customers must contact our customer service team via phone or email. The request should include the order number and the reason for the cancellation.
3.2 Refund Timeline:
- Refunds will be processed within 7 business days from the date of approval. The refunded amount will be credited to the original payment method.
3.3 Non-Refundable Charges:
- Delivery charges, if already incurred, are non-refundable. Additionally, any charges for services already rendered (e.g., partial skip hire duration, permit application fee) will be deducted from the refund.
- Changes to Orders
4.1 Rescheduling Delivery:
- Customers may reschedule the delivery of their skip at no additional cost if the request is made at least 48 hours before the original delivery time.
4.2 Changing Skip Size:
- If you need to change the size of the skip you ordered, please contact us at least 48 hours before delivery. Changes requested less than 48 hours before delivery may not be possible, and cancellation fees may apply.
- Damaged or Faulty Skips
5.1 Reporting Issues:
- If the skip delivered is damaged or faulty, please report it to us within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement skip at no additional cost.
5.2 Refunds for Damaged Skips:
- In cases where a replacement skip cannot be provided, a full refund will be issued. 6. Unacceptable Waste
6.1 Prohibited Items:
- Customers must not dispose of prohibited items such as hazardous waste, electrical equipment, or any other items listed in our terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, and the skip may be returned without refund.
